My thoughts have been racing all weekend long.
Recent horrific events, amazing teaching at church, prepping of the heart for His birthday, my life.
And so I “try” to put them all together…
I think lately, life sort of doesn’t feel the same.
Life feels so precious.
Life feels so fragile.
Precious and fragile living souls.
Souls that struggle to find the truth and the way.
Souls that struggle with sadness and the reality of darkness.
Darkness that covers the light.
I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. - John 12:46
The shinning Truth that illuminates our way.
The shinning Promise that makes our hearts glow.
Our self-fueled lights will always come up short.
Let us fire up the light of His Truth in our souls.
Let us reflect His light from the inside out.
Let us receive His shinning Will.
Let there be light through the good and the bad.
Let us make darkness shine. From and for His glory.
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. – Matthew 5:14-16
